São Paulo Futebol Clube, usually called São Paulo FC or just São Paulo, launched a special edition all red tonal 2013 kit on Sunday from technical sponsor Penalty.
The latest 2013 uniform from the six-time Brazilian Série A champions pays tribute to the club’s legendary Estádio do Morumbi (Morumbi Stadium). It is expected to be available at Subside Sportsin the near future.
São Paulo’s also launched a white tonal 2013 goalkeeper kit that was worn by longtime custodian and team captain Rogério Ceni during Sunday’s 1-0 win over Campeonato Paulista quarter-final win over Penapolense.
The red of the outfield player kit is inspired by the color of the new seats at the renovated Morumbi. The club says that the color represents the passion of the club’s fan and used the theme “Vermelho, a cor da Raça” (“Red – the color of the Race) for the jersey launch.
