Fluminense 2013 adidas Away Kit

Campeonato Brasileiro Série A champions for two of the last seasons Fluminense Football Club have officially launched their adidas 2013 away kit (available soon at Subside Sports). The jersey’s release follows that of the club’s new home kit in January.

The new all white Flu kit recognizes the 30th anniversary of the club’s 1983 Campeonato Carioca (Rio de Janiero State Championship) by using a design inspired by the away shirt that Fluminense wore that season. It’s inner neckline features the phrase “Recordar é Viver” (“Remember and Live”) in reference to a chant of the club’s supporters.

Tuesday’s Fluminense 2013 adidas jersey launch featured several members of the 1983 state title-winning side including Assis (scorer of the goal against Flamengo that gave Fluminense the championship), Romerito and Leomir.
