Reigning Argentine Primera División champions Club Atlético Vélez Sársfield have launched a limited edition jersey in celebration of their latest (ninth overall) league title. It is now available at Subside Sports.
The Vélez Sársfield 2013 Topper limited edition shirt departs from the club’s usual white home and blue away kits via the use of a black base. However, Vélez’ traditional V-shaped chest band is present on the kit along with embroidery of the club’s nickname, El Fortín (“The Small Fort”) on the inner neckline.
Finally, a golden star is embroidered above the Vélez Sársfield badge is recognition of the team’s 1994 Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup double.
