French Ligue 1 club Stade Rennais has launched a special edition jersey to be worn in this weekend’s Coupe de la Ligue (League Cup) final against AS Saint-Étienne.
Unlike their opponents who will wear a new shirt designed for the final, the Rennes kit will be a modified version of their 2012/13 home jersey. It features a tournament logo patch on its right sleeve along with golden embroidery with under the club badge that reads “Finale Coupe de La League. Samedi 20 avril 2013. AS Saint-Étienne – Stade Rennais”.
Saturday’s appearance is Stade Rennais first in the final of the competition.
