Following their recent rebranding from the Minnesota Stars FC, Minnesota United FC has launched its 2013 interim home and away jerseys from technical sponsor Admiral. Newly designed kits will be released midway through the current season.
The club’s all black temporary home uniform made its match debut in last Saturday’s 0-0 draw against the San Antonio Scorpions in the first round of the 2013 North American Soccer League (NASL) season.
According to the club its 2013 kits are made of Admiral VaporDraw™ fabric with mesh inserts around the arm to provide extra ventilation. The jerseys feature an embroidered Admiral logo on the right breast and a woven Minnesota United FC logo on the left breast, as well as a Minnesota United FC detail on the back of the neck.
NASL champions in 2011, Minnesota United made it to the finals of the 2012 playoffs where the club lost 3-2 on aggregate against the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
