2013/14 Kits

Figueirense 2013 Penalty Home and Away Kits

Published on

Figueirense Futebol Clube unveiled its 2013 Penalty home and away kits on Friday night at a launch event in its home city of Florianópolis. Both are expected to be available soon in the Subside Sports Brazilian club section.

Musa do Figueirense 2012 Franciele Perão and 2011 Musa Gabriela Avila were on hand to model the new kits along with several fans chosen via Facebook and select club players.

The 2013 Figueirense home jersey uses a pol0-collared design in the club’s traditional vertical black and white stripes. It was worn in match action for the first time during Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Avaí.

The club’s new away shirt uses a more contemporary design with a v-neck collar and shoulder area piping. Using a white base, the shirt is highlighted by a green and black vertical band on it right side.

Nicknamed Figueira (The Fig Tree), Figueirense was relegated to the second tier of Brazilian soccer,  the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, for 2013 following a two-year run Série A.
