The team kept with tradition with the launch of its 2013 home and away shirts from Brazilian firm Penalty a few weeks ago. The new jerseys are also Talleres’ centennial shirts.
The Talleres de Córdoba 2013 Penalty home and away jerseys were launched during an extravagant Argentine summer event called “100 Años, 100 Camisetas” (100 Years, 100 Jerseys) at the Sede Club Atletico Talleres de Cba. During the gala soccer babes modeled Talleres kits from throughout the club’s history.
Fourth place finishes in the Torneo Argentino A last season, Talleres last competed in the Argentine Primera División in 2004. 1978 FIFA World Cup winners Luis Galván, Miguel Oviedo and Jose Daniel Valencia were Talleres players at the time of Argentina’s first world championship.
