Known for releasing an abundance of kits per season (the club released six in 2012), Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side Grêmio has launched its 2013 Copa Libertadores home kit from uniform provider Topper.
The newest Grêmio kit was worn for the first time on Thursday night in a 2-1 group stage loss to Chile’s champions CD Huachipato at the Arena do Grêmio in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
The 2013 Grêmio Copa Libertadores home shirt uses the club’s traditional sky blue and black vertical stripes throughout. Its white v-neck and sleeve cuffs feature gold trim. Two gold stars and one silver star are embroidered above the club badge in recognition of its two Copa Libertadores (1983 and 1995) and one Intercontinental Cup (1983) titles.
