Atlético de Madrid Sign One Match Sponsorship Deal with Azerbaijan

Defending UEFA Europa League and Super Cup winners Atlético de Madrid will wear kits sponsored by the Republic of Azerbaijan for Saturday’s derby with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The club has been without a kit sponsor for the entire 2012/13 season so far despite good form that sees it currently in second place in the Spanish La Liga.

Atlético’s deal with Azerbaijan is for one match only and marks the beginning of the club’s efforts to expand its brand in one of Europe’s emerging markets.

The Atlético de Madrid 2012/13 Nike home and away kits were launched in July. They are now available at Kitbag and Subside Sports.
