The Wales Umbro 2012/13 away kit to be used the first part of the team’s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign was officially launched on Tuesday. The new shirt will be available at Kitbag and Subside Sports along with the Dragon’s 12/13 home jersey.
The Wales 12/13 away strip was worn in match action for the first time when the likes of Joe Allen and Gareth Bale took the field against Croatia in a World Cup qualifier last night.
FAW technical sponsor Umbro describes the Wales 12/13 away kit as follows:
Inspired by the colours of the iconic Welsh flag, the new 2012/2013 Wales away shirt was debuted by the team last night in their World Cup qualifying game versus Croatia.
With a smart collar and buttoned placket giving the shirt a traditional look, the eye-catching halved design comes in a rich green and white colourway. Crafted from a lightweight, comfortable material, the shirt also features mesh underarm panels for increased breathability, and is completed by the Welsh national crest and the Umbro logo embroidered on the chest.
