PUMA Signs France and Manchester City Fullback Gaël Clichy

Herzogenaurach, Germany (2nd October, 2012) — PUMA today announced it has signed a new partnership contract with the French national football player Gaël Clichy. The Manchester City left back defender will move into PUMA’s Speed silo, wearing the current evoSPEED 1FG boots for the first time in Manchester City’s UEFA Champions Leagueâ„¢ match against Borussia Dortmund on the 3rd of October. Clichy is another strong addition to PUMA’s global sports marketing portfolio, and will become one of the main assets in the sportlifestyle brand’s football communication.

Gaël Clichy has enjoyed a long and illustrious career, winning the Premier League title for Arsenal and most recently with Manchester City.
