Club Nacional de Football Umbro 2012 “Celeste” Jersey

Fourty-four time Uruguayan Primera División and three-time Copa Libertadores champions Club Nacional de Football have launched the 2012 edition of their “Celeste” (Sky Blue in English) jersey from technical sponsor Umbro.

Worn during Sunday’s 2-0 league win over Cerro Largo, the 2012 Nacional Celeste kit pays home to the Uruguayan national team via its color choice. It also recognizes the fact that on September 13th, 1903 a Uruguayan national team made of Nacional players defeated neighbors Argentina 3-2 in Palermo.

Club Nacional de Football launched its 2012 home and away kits in March and a third kit in July.
