Bavarian club SpVgg Greuther Fürth will play in the top-tier of German soccer, the Fußball-Bundesliga, this season for the first time in its history after winning the 2. Bundesliga at the end of last season.
Featuring former Germany and Schalke 04 attacker Gerald Asamoah, Greuther Fürth opens its Bundesliga campaign against powerhouse Bayern Munich at the Trolli Arena on Saturday.
