CF Monterrey Nike 2012/13 Home and Away Jerseys

Club de Futbol Monterrey is a Mexican soccer club from Monterrey, Nuevo León. Founded in 1945, it is also the oldest team from the north of Mexico currently playing in its professional division. Because of its traditional home uniform C.F. Monterrey is nicknamed Los Rayados (the “striped ones”).

C.F. Monterrey currently features a wealth of international talent including Chilean striker Humberto Suazo, Walter Ayoví of Ecuador and a host of Mexican national team players. The club is the has won the last two editions of CONCACAF Champions League champion and will be the region’s representative in December’s FIFA World Club Cup.

Los Rayados launched their Nike home and away kits for the 2012/13 Mexican Primera season (divided into the Apertura 201and Clausura 2013) on Friday at a rock concert featuring the bands Moderatto and Panda along with players Humberto Suazo, Aldo de Nigris, Eduardo Zavala and Sergio Perez.

The 2012/13 Monterrey kits now feature six stars around their badges. The four blue stars on the top of the badge recognize the club’s Mexican Primera titles while the two gold stars at the bottom commemorate Los Rayados’ CONCACAF championships.
