Southampton FC Umbro 2012/13 Home and Away Kits

Southampton Football Club will return to the English Premier League for the 2012/13 season following consecutive promotions over the last two seasons.

A fixture in the top flight of English soccer from 1978-2005, the Saints ascent to the Premier League ends a torrid period in their history that saw them enter administration and fall to the third tier of the game, League One, in 2010.

As Southampton looks towards its August 18th league opener against defending champions Manchester City, the club has launched its Umbro 2012/13 home and away kits.

The home jersey deviates from Southampton’s traditional wide red and white stripes via the use of a predominantly red design with white pinstripes. Both uniforms will see action during the next few weeks when the club meets the likes of Ajax and Udinese in pre-season action.
