English Football League Championship side Bristol City FC has followed the recent release of its new away kit with that of its adidas 2012/13 home kit.
According to the clubb’s website: City have unveiled its new home kit for the 2012/13 npower Championship season, featuring the club’s new Principal Partners Blackthorn.
The new City home strip, which goes on sale on Thursday, July 12th, sees the introduction of the colour black to the shirt. Traditionally a part of City’s kits throughout its history, the greater show of black brings a powerful new look to the kit, which also boasts a vibrant red on the shirt with red shorts and red socks.
The new home kits will also feature Adidas Formotion, engineered to maximise freedom for the wearer and are designed to also optimise comfort. The new kits also have sculpted hem and leg openings to accommodate specific football movement, providing ultimate performance…
The first time fans will see the 2012/13 home kit in action at Ashton Gate will be Louis Carey’s testimonial match against local rivals Bristol Rovers on Saturday, August 4th (1pm).
