West Ham United FC are back in the English Premier League for the 2012/13 season after triumphing in May’s English Football League Championship Playoffs. As the popular London club looks to secure its place in England’s top flight, the West Ham Macron 2012/13 home kit has been unveiled. Its launch follows that of the Hammers’ new away kit earlier this month.
According to the WHUFC’ website: The new home strip showcases the traditional claret body with sky blue sleeves redesigned with a vintage style. The shirt features a stylish claret knitwear ‘corean’ neck collar with a sky blue insert, embellished by a stitched yellow cross recalling the symbolic Hammers logo.
A second embossed Hammers logo on the back of the shirt means nobody will be in any doubt who you support, while sky blue inserts on the flank define the profile of the shirt and shape its form. The sleeves combine the sky blue colour with a claret piping profile.
The shorts are the traditional white, complete with a stitched West Ham logo, while the socks are predominantly claret but highlighted by two sets of sky blue and white hoops.
