After earning promotion back to Serie A from Serie B at the end of the 2010/11 season, Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio (commonly known as just Atalanta, Atalanta Bergamo or the abbreviation Atalanta BC) have secured their spot in Italy’s top-flight of soccer for next season and are currently in eleventh place in the league.
Ahead of Sunday’s meeting with fifth place SS Lazio, Atalanta BC have launched their Errea 2012/13 home and away kits. The new La Dea (The Goddess) uniforms were the highlights of the Friday opening of the “Temporary Atalanta Store” at the Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Both recognize the founding of the club 105 years ago with prints of 1907 on their rear upper back areas.
