French Ligue 1 club FC Girondins de Bordeaux (usually referred to as just Bordeaux) extended its long-running technical sponsorship deal with Germany’s PUMA for another eight years last week. The club has now unveiled the first of its three playing strips for new season in the form of its PUMA 2012/13 third kit.
Along with a number of other PUMA kits for the new season, the Girodins de Bordeaux PUMA 2012/13 third jersey uses a sashed version of the now well-known Italy EURO 2012 home jersey. It will be worn for the first time during tonight’s Ligue 1 meeting with Stade Rennes and for Sunday’s match with FC Lorient.
Bordeaux is currently in eight position in Ligue 1 with four matches in the season. FCGB last won the league title in 2009.
