2012/13 Kits

Falkirk FC PUMA 2012/13 Home and Away Kits

Published on

Falkirk Football Club could finish the 2011/12 season in second place in the Scottish First Division depending on the results of the final round of league fixtures on May 5th. With the end of the season in sight, The Bairns have launched their PUMA 2012/13 home and away kits.

According to the Falkirk FC website: The Bairns have, once again, teamed up with our technical kit suppliers PUMA through their UK & Ireland PUMA Licensee, Genesis Sports. Both parties have worked very hard to make sure that we have, in Scotland, a unique Team and Replica Home & Away jersey and we hope our fans are as delighted as we are in the Retail Team, with the finished articles.

This season’s theme is “Back to the Future” and with that the Home Kit sees the return of the popular red socks, which rose to prominence in the late 70`s, 80`s and mid 90s.

The Home kit also features striking white panels down each shoulder and is then complemented by white shorts with navy trim.

The retro feel is completed with our new Away kit, which is a homage to the famous 1994 strip worn by legends such as Richard Cadette, Mo Johnston and Davie Weir. Last September, we sent an actual shirt from 18 years ago to our colleagues at PUMA and they have recreated the exact colour (Now known as Brockville Gold) in our new away kit.

The 2012/13 away shirt, with navy shoulder panels, is joined by navy shorts with gold trim and socks which match our new “Brockville Gold” shirt.

Club Captain Darren Dods and young playmaker, Craig Sibbald, tried the new kits on for size this week and were delighted with the quality and feel of this modern day shirt.
