Olympique Lyon adidas 2012/13 European 3D Kit

2011/12 Coupe de la Ligue finalists and French Ligue 1 champions every season from 2001 to 2008 Olympique Lyon have launched their adidas European kit for the 2012/13 season (now available at World Soccer Shop). It will be worn for the first time in match action during Saturday’s Coupe de France final against third division US Quevilly.

The Olympique Lyon adidas 2012/13 European kit pays homage to the city of Lyon and early French film makers Auguste and Louis Lumière via the use of three dimensional graphics that can only be clearly seen with 3D glasses. The jersey is the world’s first ever soccer shirt to feature such effects.

OL is currently in fourth place in the 2011/12 Ligue 1 table after thirty three matches played. Victory in tomorrow’s Coupe de France final will seal a 2012/13 Europa League spot for Les Gones.
