Atlético Madrid Sign One-Match Shirt Deal with Huawei for Madrid Derby

Atlético Madrid has signed a one match deal with Chinese telecommunications company Huawei for their April 11th Madrid Derby with Real Madrid. The short-term sponsorship was announced to the public at the Sala Vip del Estadio Vicente Calderón on Monday.

Currently in seventh position in the Spanish La Liga and into the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League, Atlético were soundly beaten 4-1 by Real in their first meeting on November 26th at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The club has been without a kit sponsor since the expiration of its deal with car manufacturer Kia at the end of the 2010/11 season.
