Botafogo PUMA 2012 Home, Away and Third Kits

Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas (usually called Botafogo) is one of the four major soccer clubs in Rio de Janeiro along with Flamengo, Fluminense and Vasco da Gama. The club has featured a host of Brazilian internationals over the years including World Cup 1958 and 1962 winner Garrincha.

Botafogo FR currently campaigns in the top-tier of Brazilian soccer — the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A where it finished in an impressive 9thplace last season. The club’s most recent success came in its winning the 2011 Campeonato Carioca (Rio de Janeiro State Championsip).

On Monday night, the Botafogo PUMA 2012 home, away, third and goalkeeper kits were unveiled. The club switches kit providers to PUMA after wearing Fila for the past few seasons. The striped black and white home kit will be the first from the collection that Botafogo uses in match action when it meets Boavista in Round 8 of the Taça Rio on April 15th at the  EstádioSão Januário.
