Japanese J. League J1 team FC Tokyo qualified for the 2012 AFC Champions League courtesy of their 2011 Emperor’s Cup win. The club is pooled Ulsan Hyundai (Australia), Brisbane Roar (Australia) and Beijing Guoan (China) in Group F of Asia’s club championship.
After launching its 2012 domestic home and away uniforms in January, FC Tokyo has also released adidas home and away kits for its 2012 AFC Champions League run. The striped red and blue home strip made its debut on Tuesday in a 2-0 win over the Roar at Brisbane Stadium. The white away kit may see action of April 4th when FC Tokyo travels to China to meet Beijing Guoan.
