Uruguay PUMA 2012/13 Away Jersey / Camiseta

Uruguay is currently FIFA’s highest ranked South American team at number four in the world. Featuring he likes of Diego Forlán (Inter Milan), Luis Suárez (Liverpool), Edinson Cavani (Napoli) and Diego Lugano (Paris Saint-Germain) La Celeste won the 2011 Copa America last July and placed fourth in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Technical sponsor PUMA released the Uruguay 2012/13 away jersey earlier this week. Its release follows that of the Uruguay 12/13 home kit last November.  Both are now available at World Soccer Shop.

According to PUMA: The Uruguay National Team Away Shirt blends white with Celeste light blue, the traditional colour of the Uruguay National Team. The shirt features the Uruguayan Sol de Mayo (May sun) symbol which is embossed on the left sleeves and the national flag is represented inside the shirt below the neck tape. Two asymmetric breathable mesh panels run on the sides of the shirt which help enhance the player’s performance.
