Peru Umbro 2012/13 Away Jersey / Camiseta

Resurgent in recent times, Peru is currently ranked 33rd in the world by FIFA and is looking to qualify for its first World Cup since 1982. Captained by Werder Bremen striker Claudio Pizarro, La Blanquirroja (The Red and White) finished in an impressive third place in last year’s Copa América and but has struggled thus far in the South American qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup.

Following the release of the team’s now popular 2011/12 home jersey last September, the Peru Umbro 2012/13 away kit was unveiled on Wednesday. It was worn for the first time during Peru’s 1-1 draw with Tunisia in at Menzah stadium in Tunis. It should have its second run when Peru travels to Uruguay for a World Cup qualifier on September 6th.
