Atlético Banfield Kappa 2012 Home and Away Kits

Club Atlético Banfield is an Argentine sports club located in the city of Banfield, part of Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires province. Founded on 21 January 1896 by residents of British origin (mostly English with some Scottish and Irish), Banfield is best know for its soccer team currently campaigning in the Primera División Argentina.

Banfield’s only Argentine Primera championship came in the Apertura 2009 season. The club finished last season in 20th or last place in the league.

Notable Banfield alumni include Argentina internationals of recent years Javier Zanetti (now with Inter Milan) and Rodrigo Palacio (now with Genoa).

On Friday night, the Atlético Banfield Kappa 2012 home and away kits were launched via the club’s website. The striped green and white home uniform will be worn for the first time when Banfield kicks off its Apertura 2012 season at Atlético Rafaela on February 12th.
