Arsenal FC ended its four match English Premier League winless streak with a 7-1 thumping of relegation-threatened Blackburn Rovers at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Gunners captain Robin Van Persie scored his second hat trick of the season with goals in the 2nd, 38th and 62nd minutes while emerging talent Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain notched his first two Premier League goals in the 40th and 54th. Mikel Arteta and on-loan club legend Thierry Henry completed the scoring for Arsenal.

Morten Gamst Pedersen had tied the match 1-1 for Blackburn in the 31st with a sublime free kick in an otherwise forgettable outing for his side.
