Republic of Ireland Umbro EURO 2012 Away Jersey

The Republic of Ireland Umbro 2012/13 away kit has been revealed by Umbro Ireland. It is now available at World Soccer Shop.

The new jersey see the team return to an away white with green accents and will be worn by the team for its EURO 2012 campaign, international friendlies and 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers over the next year. Ireland had worn a predominantly black away kit since last April.

Currently ranked 23rd in the world by FIFA, the Republic of Ireland’s appearance at EURO 2012 is its first in a major international tournament since it made the Round of 16 of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

Manager by Italian Giovanni Trapattoni, Ireland features a wealth of players plying their trades in the English Premier League such as Damian Duff (Fulham), Shay Given (Aston Villa) and Leon Best (Newcastle United).
