Founded in 1909 by a group of English immigrants constructing Chile’s railroad system, Everton de Viña del Mar is a Chilean soccer club based in the city of Viña del Mar. It is named after English Premier League regulars Everton FC.

Currently campaigning in the second tier of soccer in Chile, La Primera División B, following its relegation from the Primera División at the end of the 2010 season, Everton has won the Chilean national title on four occasions and the Copa Chile once.

On Friday the Everton de Viña del Mar 2012 home kit was officially launched. It will be Everton’s first choice jersey for the upcoming Apertura and Clausura 2012 tournaments. The club had donned uniforms from Umbro in recent years but has now signed a deal with Brazil’s Penalty.
