Many soccer fans have become familiar with the Brazil Nike 2011/12 home kit since its launch in February. The jersey in Brazil’s famed canary yellow with green accents has been the Seleção’s first choice shirt for its international friendlies and Copa America 2011 campaign. There has also been a hard to find black version of the jersey in circulation.
Recently we had a look at a sponsored version of the Brazil Nike 11/12 kit. It is in use by Brazil’s four-time world champion beach soccer team for its non-FIFA sanctioned matches such as the recent Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup 2011.
The shirt features the logos of no less than four sponsors – Gillette on its front, Chevrolet on its sleeves, Banco Itaú on its shoulders and Duracell on its back. The player numbers appear lower than they do on the front of the non-sponsored jersey in order to accommodate the Gillette logo.
So if you’ve ever wondered what an official sponsored Brazil home kit would look like, look no further. Here is a detailed look at one of them!
