Ivory Coast PUMA 2012/13 Away Soccer Jersey / Maillot

Following the release of the team’s new home kit three weeks ago, the Ivory Coast (or Côte d’Ivoire) PUMA 2012/13 away jersey has hit online retailers. It will be worn by Didier Drogba, Yaya Touré, Salomon Kalou, Gervinho and company when they kick off their 2012 African Cup of Nations campaign in January and is now available at Subside Sports.

Now considered a regional power, the Ivory Coast has never won the African Cup of Nations but is among the favorites to win the 2012 edition of the tournament.

Nicknamed the Les Elephants, the Ivory Coast qualified for the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups but did not progress past the group stage of the competition each time after being drawn in difficult pools. Nevertheless, the Ivory Coast is currentlty FIFA’s highest ranked African side at number sixteen in the November 2011 FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking.
