Video: USA 3 – Slovenia 2 (International Friendly Highlights)

The United States men’s national soccer team won its second match in seven outings under new manager Jürgen Klinsmann by beating Slovenia 3-2 in Ljubljana on Tuesday.

The rematch of the teams’ 2-2 group stage draw at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa saw the USA go ahead 1-0 in the 11th on a goal from Edson Buddle. Slovenia equalized through Tim Matavz in the 27th before Clint Dempsey restored the USA lead in the 41st. Jozy Altidore made matters 3-1 by scoring from the penalty spot in the 43rd. Matavz notched his second for the hosts in the 62nd to ensure an interesting finish to the match.
