The Danish Football Association has officially unveiled the Denmark adidas EURO 2012 home kit (or trøje in Danish). The new strip will serve as Denmark’s first choice uniform for the 2012/13 period during which it will kick off its 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying run. It is now available at World Soccer Shop.
The new Denmark adidas kit will make its on the field debut on Friday, November 11th when the Danish Dynamite meet Scandinavian rivals Sweden in Copenhagen for a friendly.
Denmark’s new jersey is based on that worn by the team when it won EURO 1992 in Sweden. At the time, Denmark’s kits were provided by hummel. The new Danish shirt features a print in the inner neck area celebrating 20th Anniversary of Denmark’s sole international soccer title.
Denmark is currently ranked 10th in the world by FIFA and has qualified for three out of the last four World Cups. The team features a wealth of talent playing in Europe’s major soccer leagues such as Thomas Sørensen (Stoke City), Simon KjÃ¦r (AS Roma) and Nicklas Bendtner (Sunderland).
