Portsmouth FC Kappa 2011/12 Third Kit

Follwing their relegation from the English Premier League at the end of their 2009/10 season, 2010 FA Cup finalists Portsmouth FC managed a 16th place finish in the English Football League Championship during their 2010/11 campaign.

Currently in 12th place in the Championship after five matches played, Portsmouth FC has launched its Kappa 2011/12 third kit has been launched.  According to the Pompey website:

The Kappa kit consists of a black and red shirt, reminiscent of the popular away strip worn during the mid-1990s.

It is accompanied by red shorts and black socks.

Like the home and away kits, the words ‘Zeal Does Not Rest’ are inscribed on the back of the neck. This has been HMS Ark Royal’s motto since 1921 and has been chosen due to Pompey’s continuing relationship with the Royal Navy.
