Popular London-based club Queens Park Rangers have launched their 2011/12 Lotto third kit. It was worn for the first time during Wednesday’s 1-0 pre-season loss to Italian Serie A side AC Cesena.
The QPR returns to the English Premier League for the first time since the 1995/96 season after topping the English Football League Championship table last season. Seeking inspiration for success in the English top flight, the Queens Park Rangers Lotto 2011/12 third kit is inspired by some of those worn by the club during its glory days of the mid 1970s.
According to the Queens Park Rangers website “The strip is characterised by large white and red squares on both the front and back sides of the jersey. The collar is white and pearl grey, while the sleeves’ edges are red.”
QPR kicks of its 2011/12 English Premier League Season against Bolton Wanderers on August 13th.
