Southampton FC Umbro 2011/12 Away Kit

Once a fixture in the English Premier League, Southampton FC will return to the second tier of English soccer, The Championship, for the first time since the 2008/09 season after placing second in League One during its 2010/11 campaign.

As the Saints prepare for the August 6th kickoff to the new season, the Southampton Umbro 2011/12 away kit has been launched. It was worn for the first time during last week’s inaugural Memorial Cup. The Saints also launched their 11/12 Umbro home kit last week.

According to the club website:

The Saints have made a popular return to the colours that have served them well over the years with the launch of a yellow and blue design for the 2011/12 campaign…

Yellow has of course featured prominently in the club’s previous achievements as it was the colour worn in Saints’ 1976 FA Cup success and latterly for the 2003 Final at the Millennium Stadium.
