Video: Manchester United 7 – Seattle Sounders 0 (International Club Friendly Highlights)

English Premier League champions Manchester United routed the Seattle Sounders by a score of 7-0 in a club friendly in front of 67,052 to CenturyLink Field on Wednesday night.

After holding United to a 1-0 scoreline in the first half courtesy of Michael Owen’s 15th minute strike, the Sounders collapsed in the second. Wayne Rooney led the Red Devils’ assault on the Sounders goal with a hat trick and an assist while Mame Biram Diouf, Ji-Sung Park and Gabriel Obertan compounded the misery on the 2010 US Open Cup champions.

Manchester United will meet the Chicago Fire on July 23rd on the next stop of the 2011 pre-season tour of the United States.
