Video: Argentina 3 – Costa Rica 0 (Copa America 2011 Highlights)

Hosts Argentina qualified for the quarter-finals of Copa America 2011 courtesy of their 3-0 Group A win over invitees Costa Rica on Monday night. El Albiceleste’s first win of the South American championship sees them finish second in Group A on five points. Colombia tops the group with seven.

Argentina’s goals against a young, experimental Costa Rican squad came from Kun Aguero in the 45th and 52nd minutes and Angel Di Maria in the 64th as the pre-tournament favorites dominated the match from start to finish. Manager Sergio Batista will now face the second place team from Group C (either Chile, Peru or Uruguay) in the quarters in Santa Fe on Saturday.
