While an English Premier League club during the 2010/11 season, Birmingham City FC got their first major trophy in 48 years when it beat Arsenal to win the Carling Cup. However, poor league results saw the team relegated to the English Football League Championship on the last day of the season.
As the Brummies look for a quick bounce back to the Premiership under new manager Chris Hughton, the Birmingham City 2011/12 Xtep home and away kits have been launched. According to the BCFC website:

Supporters’ opinions were gauged with regards to the home strip and the overwhelming response was that you, our loyal followers, want a kit that is all royal blue.
The playing squad were shown various designs for the away strip and they opted for this charcoal and blue striped number.
