Portsmouth Kappa 2011/12 Home Kit

After their relegation from the English Premier League at the end of their 2009/10 campaign and well-publicized financial difficulties, 2010 FA Cup finalists Portsmouth FC managed a 16th place finish in the English Football League Championship during the 2010/11 season.

As Pompey looks towards next season under new owner Vladimir Antonov and with several internationals in their ranks, the Portsmouth FC Kappa 2011/12 home kit has been launched. The PFC website describes the new jersey as follows.

The Kappa kit — a royal blue shirt, (is) accompanied by the traditional white shorts and red socks.

Like the away kit, the words ‘Zeal Does Not Rest’ are inscribed on the back of the neck. This has been HMS Ark Royal’s motto since 1921 and has been chosen due to Pompey’s continuing relationship with the Royal Navy.
