Aston Villa Nike 2011/12 Away Kit / Jersey

English Premier League club Aston Villa has unveiled its 2011/12 Nike away kit. According to the Villans website:

The white and pale grey change shirt with a claret trim collar, as modelled by star striker Gabby Agbonlahor, is available for pre-order now and will go on sale from July 14.

All shirts purchased from Villa stores at Villa Park and New Street in Birmingham, or online at Villa Direct, will include the logo of the club’s new main sponsor Genting.

Shirts from external outlets such as JJB Sports and Sports Direct may not bear the Genting logo due to the sponsorship deal being finalised later than anticipated.

Made from Nike Considered recycled material, both the shirt and shorts are produced using up to 13 discarded plastic water bottles, making it Nike’s greenest ever kit.

This new manufacturing process reduces energy consumption by up to 30 per centcompared to traditional polyester and saves nearly 100 million plastic water bottles from being dumped at landfill sites.
