Cardiff City PUMA 2011/12 Home Kit

Though failing to earn promotion to the English Premier League via the English Football League Championship playoffs for the last two years, Cardiff City FC remains a force in England’s second tier of soccer.

With an eye on next season, Cardiff City hired former Scotland international and Watford FC boss Malky Mackay as manager on Friday and unveiled its PUMA 2011/12 home kit.

Using a PUMA design simlilar to that of the Preston North End 11/12 kits, the new Bluebirds strip features the logo of the 1Malaysia campaign that is “aiming for unity within diverse cultures in the country, along with ever improving football connections via the start of the 1Malaysia Cardiff City Grassroots Academy in Kuala Lumpur.”

Cardiff City opens its 2011/12 Championship campaign on August 6th at West Ham United.
