Managed by former England, SS Lazio and Manchester City boss Sven-Göran Eriksson, Leicester City FC currently campaigns in the English Football League Championship. The club will also play in England’s second tier of soccer next season as it looks set for a mid-table finish to the 2010/11 season.

On Saturday, the Leicester City BURRDA 2011/12 home kit was launched. According to the Foxes’ website:

The new design, the latest in the current deal with Technical Kit Sponsors Burrda, takes a classic ‘retro style’ with a modern twist and sees a collar reintroduced to the home shirt for the first time in nearly a decade.

The new kit will be worn for the first time this afternoon when the Foxes take on Ipswich Town on the final day of the 2010/11 npower Championship season.

Swiss firm BURRDA also provides kits for the Belgium, Qatar and Kuwaiti national teams along with English clubs Wolverhampton and Watford.
