Similar in design to the France Nike 2011/12 home goalkeeper shirt, the new Les Bleus away jersey features a sailor theme that the FFF says celebrates the country’s rich maritime heritage. According to the FFF website:
The new away jersey of France celebrates French elegance, it reinterprets classic France, involving the latest innovations in performance, comfort and environmental friendliness.
The design of the shirt features a new ventilation system to provide players with a maximum moisture control. The cut of the shirt is fitted without being tight, and the inside of the shirt offers a touch cotton, to provide players with a level of performance and comfort.
The France Nike 2011/12 away kit will be worn for the first time on March 25th when Les Bleus meet Luxembourg in a UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier.
