FC Zenit St. Petersburg Nike 2011/12 Home and Away Kits

FC Zenit Saint Petersburg is a Russian football club from the city Saint Petersburg. Founded in 1925 (or in 1914 according to some Russian sources), the club plays in the Russian Premier League and currently is one of the richest in the country due to the the ownership of the club by Gazprom.

Whilst featuring Arsenal attacker Andrei Arshavin, Zenit were the 2007 champions of the Russian Premier League and winners of the 2008 UEFA Cup. They also added the 2008 UEFA Super Cup to their trophy cabinet by beating Manchester United 2-1. The club won its second Russian Premier League title in 2010 and is now through to the Round of 16 of the 2010/11 UEFA Europa League.

Earlier today Zenit St. Petersburg launched their Nike 2000/12 home and away jerseys (both now available at Subside Sports). According to the club’s website both kits use designs which combine the tradition of the club and the ambition of modern teams. The new Zenit home strip is expected to see action when the team meets Roberto Carlos and FC Anzhi Makhachkala on March 1st in Russian Cup action.
