Gremio 2011 Topper Home, Away and Third Kits / Camisas

Published on

Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, most commonly referred to as simply Gremio, is a Brazilian professional football team based in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. The club finished in 4th place in the 2010 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and has been in the news lately because of its attempt to re-sign former player Ronaldinho upon his return to Brazil.

Last night Gremio unveiled its Topper home, away and third kits for the 2011 season via an elaborate ceremony featuring current and former players and several models. Brazilian musical artists Nacional Kid, Vera Loca, Charles Máster and Chimarruts were also on hand to perform.

Of note is that the Gremio Topper 2011 home kit is based on that worn by the club when it won its first Campeonato Brasileiro in 1981. It will be used for the first time during Thursday’s Copa Libertsdores group stage meeting with Oriente Petrolero (Bolivia) in Porto Alegre.

Gremio club changes kit provider to the Argentine firm this season following the end of their previous kit deal with PUMA.
