Kashima Antlers 2011 Nike Home Kit

Kashima Antlers is a professional soccer team currently playing in the Japanese J. League Division 1 (J1) and amongst Japan’s best-supported clubs.

Since the J-League’s creation in 1993, Kashima has won the league title seven times and the Emperor’s Cup on four occasions. Kashima’s last league title came in the 2009 season while its last Emperor’s Cup triumph occured in the 2010 season.

Known for its ties to Brazilian soccer, Kashima currently features three Brazilian players and is managed by former São Paulo, Corinthians, Santos and Fluminense boss Oswaldo de Oliveira. Brazilian legend Zico ended his storied career at Antlers from 1991-1994 and is regarded as a club icon.

This week Kashima Antlers unveiled its much-anticipated Nike 201 home kit. It will feature in the 2011 J. League season and AFC Champions League. Here’s a look at the new strip in some detail.
