Video: France 2 – Romania 0 (Euro 2012 Qualifier Highlights)

Late goals from substitutes Loïc Rémy and Yoann Gourcuff gave hosts France a 2-0 win over a resolute Romania in their UEFA EURO 2012 Group D qualifier on Saturday. The result sees Les Bleus ascend to the top of the group with six points after three matches played.

The match seemed heading towards a draw when Rémy latched onto Alou Diarra’s  long ball in the 83rd minute to beat impressive Romania goalie Costel Pantilimon. Gourcuff then emulated Rémy when he slammed Dimitri Payet’s pass into the net from the top of the box.
