Catalunya Astore 2010/11 Home and Away Kits / Camisetas

The Catalonia national football team is the official football team of Catalonia, Spain. It is organised by the Catalonia Football Federation. The team has been referred to by various names including Selecció Catalana, Selecció de Barcelona and the Catalan XI.

Catalonia is not affiliated to either FIFA or UEFA and the team does not participate in either the FIFA World Cup or the European Championship. Instead, Catalonians are full Spanish citizens and eligible to play for Spain, with several such as Carles Puyol, Gerard Piqué, Víctor Valdés representing the Spanish national team. The Catalan national team are currently coached by FC Barcelona and Dutch legend Johan Cruyff.

This afternoon at the Pati de les Dones del CCCB in Barcelona, Catalunya presented their 2010/11 Astore home and away kits. On hand for the presentation were Catalunya players Víctor Valdés (FC Barcelona) and Sergio García (Espanyol). Catalunya doesn’t currently have any matches scheduled this year. However, a friendly may be in the works for late December during the Spanish La Liga winter break.
